Petrice Brett

2ce28b0Petrice has been working in the entertainment industry for as long as she can remember. She has worked as a performer, a stage manager, a tour manager, production crew member, publicist, VP of an entertainment agency, an event manager for prestigious events, and as a sponsorship and marketing coordinator. She is committed to creating connection, collaboration and community. In addition to working full time on various events, she is currently attending Sauder School of Business in the Sales and Marketing Program.

Angela Lee

AAEAAQAAAAAAAAT6AAAAJDhlMTRhMWVlLTJmYjktNGY1Yi1hZmY2LThiNWJiNWU0NjA1MQAngela has been involved in community programming for a decade, developing and delivering programs and events at Renfrew Community Centre, Killarney Secondary and the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. She completed her Bachelor of Education at UBC, and after completing her extended teaching practicum at the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education (DLC), was hired to help coordinate the Dalai Lama’s visit to Vancouver in 2014. She became manager of the DLC’s social media channels in 2015, and doubled the organization’s global reach within a year. She also manages social media for Walking the Talk, the BC Sustainability Educator’s Network. She is currently completing a Community Capacity Building Citation through Capilano University to deepen her understanding and work in community development and engagement.

David Samis

39ba90bDavid has over a decade of experience in arts and education project management and communications, including extensive work promoting youth literacy in the arts and environmental education. Since 2001, he has edited and/or designed 17 books and developed projects, publications and events for a number of clients, including Simon Fraser University, North Vancouver Community Arts Council, BC Teachers Federation, American Educational Research Association, BC Hydro, Parks Canada, the Dalai Lama Centre for Peace and Education and the United Nations BC-RCE on Education for Sustainable Development. In addition to co-founding Ripple Effect Arts and Literature Society, his community work includes coaching minor hockey, being a board member for several arts organizations, and volunteering at community-based events in the Vancouver area.
